3 Oil Blends for ULTIMATE Hydration & Glowing Skin

Carrier oils are powerful and incredibly beneficial. They add amazing benefits to the skin and hair since they are filled with nutrients and vitamins derived from their natural plant sources.

Genuine carrier oils are natural and active ingredients that have healing properties and are a great addition to a consistent skincare regimen.

If you haven’t read about the ultra-luxurious shower routine that helped me improve dark spots, reduce visible stretch marks and make my skin glow, it’s a quick read and may very well change the game for you.

I’m listing my top three favorite body oil blends that I love to mix together and apply immediately after a shower before I even step out. This helps me to retain moisture after a relaxing shower and quickly treat the skin after exfoliating with a cleanser. By applying these body oil blends in the shower, I am able to lock in moisture while my body is still wet. The steam buys me time, helping to keep my pores open since that’s the best time for my skin to fully absorb all the nutrients and vitamins.

If you find the benefits in either of these blends provide everything that you’re looking for, don’t hesitate to mix them all together and maximize your benefits. Small disclaimer: with any skincare routine, it’s important to always test on a small area of skin before fully applying any creams or oils topically. This helps to ensure that your skin will not react negatively.

All of the natural oils listed below are oils that I’ve purchased from Amazon and mixed together into a dark glass bottle with a pump. Dark bottles help to protect the oil from prematurely deteriorating from light. A pump helps to keep me from dripping oil in the shower and subsequently breaking my neck. Please, use a pump.

Read further below about each of these hydrating body oil blends and find out which helped improve my skin tone, reduce the visibility of stretch marks in my most troubled areas (arms, hips, butt), and gave me the most luxurious glow!

1.Jojoba Oil + Bitter Almond Oil + Vitamin E Oil.

Jojoba Oil is an antioxidant with natural forms of Vitamin E. It provides ultimate hydration and works against fine lines and aging.

Bitter Almond Oil (yes, bitter) is hard to find at times, but the benefits are worth the effort. Bitter Almond Oil helps promote skin elasticity and protects the skin from the sun’s ultraviolet rays. It’s antimicrobial, antibacterial and helps to improve complexion and skin tone. Even better – it helps with stretch marks.

Vitamin E oil is a notable mention and a fan favorite. I typically try to add Vitamin E oil to any body oil blend as it helps to prevent and minimize the appearance of scars, treat fine lines and wrinkles and helps to heal wounds.

I favor this blend because Jojoba oil is light and most similar to the sebum our body naturally produces. It doesn’t give the feeling of “build-up” and simply feels good when rubbed into the skin. Because Vitamin E oil has a thick and sticky consistency, I find that blending with Jojoba oil and Bitter Almond Oil helps reduce that feeling throughout the day.

2.Rosehip Oil + Lavender Oil + Vitamin E + Geranium.

Rosehip oil is an absolute favorite. Rosehip oil provides so many benefits to the skin; it could be added to any of these body oil blends and significantly improve the texture and complexion of your skin. Rosehip oil helps exfoliate and brighten the skin naturally, reduces inflammation and hyperpigmentation, and gives the ultimate hydration for soft, supple skin. Unmatched.

Lavender Oil is an oil that rapidly heals and soothes the skin. It helps to even the skin tone, unclog pores and reduce inflammation in the skin, and it fights against free radicals helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Geranium is an essential oil that actively boosts skin health, improving elasticity, softness, and smoothness.

This body oil blend is by far my favorite and most frequently used. I love this blend because Rosehip Oil and Vitamin E have been literal powerhouses in improving my complexion and helping to further improve my skin when addressing hyperpigmentation. I love adding Vitamin C oil to this blend, as the glow I get in the winter and fall seasons is ridiculous. The ultimate bonus – Geranium. Being that Rosehip Oil is a carrier oil, it carries Geranium further into the skin and boosts the benefits to a different level. Added bonus, Geranium is aromatic and helps to reduce feelings of stress, fatigue, and tension. I also receive the most compliments when using this blend.

I love to apply this body oil blend every night just before bed, as it helps to soothe and relax. Its thickness gives me confidence that my body will remain hydrated throughout the night and rejuvenate my skin cells while my body is resting. Absolute favorite.

3.Argan Oil + Vitamin C Oil + Almond Oil.

Argan Oil helps to prevent and reduce stretch marks and improve skin elasticity. It helps to reduce oiliness in the skin by reducing sebum activity and improves wound healing. Because argan oil has a strong combination of Vitamin E and antioxidants, it helps to improve the skin’s ability to heal against wounds faster.

Vitamin C Oil is another essential oil that is great at fighting against the sun but also fighting against old scars and dark spots. Vitamin C oil will help to slow down the aging of the skin, prevent sun damage and improve the appearance of hyperpigmentation in the skin.

Almond Oil (not Bitter Almond this time) can help to improve the skin complexion and tone, treat dry skin and reduce the appearance of scars. It’s rich in Vitamin D and helps to restore the skin’s moisture barrier because it is highly emollient, helping to balance moisture absorption into the skin and water loss. Consistent use of almond oil will help to restore the skin back to its natural complexion.

I love this body oil blend because it’s light and glides on the skin quickly. I typically favor this body oil blend when I’m looking to hydrate my skin quickly and retain moisture after coming out of the shower. Argan Oil and Almond Oil are both very light oils; a little goes a long way. I love to apply this blend after a morning shower as a hydrating and refreshing start to my day.

Natural oils are great for the skin, without question. Consistent use can help to improve hydration, elasticity, fine lines, and wrinkles and reduce visibility in scars, dark spots, and stretch marks. Also, if you are someone who deals with eczema, consistent use of these blends of natural oils can help you to treat the inflammation that occurs by the environmental triggers and stress that inflames the skin.

If you intend to use any of these blends beneath your SPF, the antioxidant activity that helps to protect the skin against free radical damage and ultraviolet rays can help to improve your skin’s performance in stressful conditions and protect you.
